Confirm four currencies before you rely on a price shown to buyers in another market: the currency the store displays, the currency of the charge, the currency of the buyer's payment method, and the currency the provider settles and pays out. WooCommerce's general settings allow only one default store currency, and those settings control how prices are displayed. Stripe separates the charge currency, called presentment, from the settlement currency of the destination bank account, and it converts the charge when they differ. Stripe also says the buyer's bank or card issuer might charge the buyer a foreign-exchange fee if the charge currency and the payment-method currency differ, or if the payment method and the business are in different countries. Those are Stripe's rules for a Stripe account. Another provider's conversion, fee, and refund currency stay unknown until that provider's current document states them. This page does not restate a conversion price. Describe the work you need. Prism will confirm scope, responsibilities, fees, and terms before work begins.
For: An owner or authorized representative of a business that sells peptides for laboratory research use only and is deciding whether to present prices in another currency.

The price on the store is not the charge
WooCommerce's general currency options set the store's default currency, and only one currency may be selected. They also set how the symbol and decimals are displayed. That is the price the store shows. It does not say which currency a payment provider will charge, and it does not say a second display currency is available in WooCommerce core.
If a plugin or a provider offers another display currency, that behavior has to come from that product's current document. Until you open it, an extra currency on a design mockup is not a confirmed charge currency.
The charge is not the settlement
Stripe's currencies document names three different things: the currency of the buyer's payment method, the presentment currency of the charge, and the settlement currency of the bank account or debit card that receives funds. If the charge currency differs from the settlement currency, Stripe converts the charge. In certain countries Stripe may allow settlement in additional currencies, which you enable and pair with a bank account.
Stripe's settlement document says that, before additional settlement currencies are enabled, incoming currencies are converted into the default currency of the home country. When you settle in a currency other than the primary currency of the account country, Stripe says it applies processing fees in that currency and points to its pricing page for the amounts. This guide does not copy those amounts. A fee in your offer is the fee that applies to you.
The buyer's own bank can add a charge
Stripe says that if the charge currency differs from the payment-method currency, the buyer's bank or card issuer might charge the buyer a foreign-exchange fee. It also says the issuer might charge the buyer when the payment method and the business are in different countries, regardless of the currency used. That fee is the issuer's, not a number Stripe prints on the currencies page and not a fee Prism quotes.
You can warn yourself that the buyer may see a cost you do not control. You cannot know the issuer's fee from the store currency or from this page. Whether your provider allows the presentment currency for this account is a provider question. Stripe's currencies page points to a presentment list for your country. Its note on zero-decimal currencies says currencies in that list might not be available in your country. That note is not a finding about this business.
Payout currency follows the bank account
Stripe says a payout in a currency requires a supported bank account in that currency. If you hold a balance in a currency with no such account, a manual payout in that currency can convert to the default bank account's currency. Payouts in a currency other than the primary currency of the recipient bank's country incur a fee, and some payouts to non-domestic accounts do too. The amounts are on Stripe's payout documentation and pricing pages, not here.
A payout is still later than settlement into the Stripe balance. Matching the store currency to the buyer's country does not tell you the currency that will land in your bank. Write both down from the dashboard or the offer. If the offer does not name the settlement currency, it is unknown.
Refunds and fees stay on the provider's current terms
Stripe's refunds page says a partial refund amount is specified in the charge currency's smallest unit. That tells you the unit of the amount you submit. It does not say a refund reverses a conversion at the original rate, and it does not say the buyer sees the refund in the store's display currency. ACH Direct Debit refunds, on Stripe's ACH page, are a separate credit rather than a card reversal. Do not assume one refund path for every currency.
You can decide not to present another market's currency until the four steps are written down. The provider decides which currencies the account may charge and settle, and what the conversion costs. Confirm conversion charges and market eligibility with the relevant provider. Geography and eligibility are a different question from the currency flow. So is reconciling a fee that already appears on an invoice.

Fill each step from the store settings and from the provider's current written terms. Stripe's sentences apply only if the account is Stripe's. Write unknown where the document is silent. What your provider still has to confirm
Your flow
Displayed price
What the opened documents sayWooCommerce core selects one default currency and uses it to display prices. A second displayed currency is not established by that settings page.
What your provider still has to confirmWhether any other product changes the price the buyer sees, and which document says so.
Charge currency
What the opened documents sayStripe calls the charge currency presentment. It is the currency on the charge, which can differ from both the store display and the settlement currency.
What your provider still has to confirmThe presentment currency this account is allowed to submit for the market you are considering.
Payment-method currency
What the opened documents sayStripe says this is the currency of the buyer's card or bank account. The buyer's issuer might add a foreign-exchange fee if it differs from the charge, or if the payment method and the business are in different countries.
What your provider still has to confirmYou cannot confirm the issuer's fee. Record that it is outside your price.
Settlement currency
What the opened documents sayStripe converts the charge into the settlement currency when they differ. Without an added settlement currency, incoming funds convert to the default currency of the home country.
What your provider still has to confirmThe settlement currency named for this account, and whether an additional settlement currency is enabled.
Payout currency
What the opened documents sayStripe requires a bank account in the payout currency. A balance with no matching account can convert when you pay it out to the default account.
What your provider still has to confirmThe bank account attached to each currency you expect to receive.
Refund currency
What the opened documents sayA Stripe partial refund amount is entered in the charge currency's smallest unit. The refunds page does not state that a conversion is reversed at the original rate.
What your provider still has to confirmThe currency and rate your provider's refund document states. Leave unknown if it does not say.
Conversion fee
What the opened documents sayStripe says conversion and payout fees exist and points to its pricing pages. This guide does not copy a percentage.
What your provider still has to confirmThe fee schedule in your own agreement. Do not paste a figure from an unrelated example.
Decision
What the opened documents sayYou can wait to offer the other market until the rows above are known. The provider decides whether the account may use those currencies.
What your provider still has to confirmApproved, not approved, or unknown, using only a written answer.

A Prism consultation can help you organize the facts and discuss the website or processing question. The payment provider decides eligibility, pricing, reserves, and whether an account is opened or closed.
No conversion percentage, country list, or buyer fee is stated on this page.
WooCommerce's single store currency and Stripe's presentment and settlement rules are not interchangeable, and neither one is another provider's rule.
